Regulation

1. The schoolyear of vzw JazzBXL runs from October 1st, 2008 to June 30, 2009.
2. contract is entered at the time of registration as noted in #1.
3. School fees for one year are €2500 and must be paid in 2 instalments:
1. the first payment directly after the registration, with a final date of September 20, 2010
2. the second payment no later than January 10, 2011
4. In the event that a student has to break the contract, he/she holds no rights to receive restitution of the fees he/she has paid, regardless of his/her reasons.
5. When the student fails to meet the required standards of conduct as outlined in #10, vzw JazzBXL is legally allowed to expel this student from class for the remainder of the school year.
6. Upon registration, the student is obligated to be present at all times. When absence or tardiness is unpreventable, a reasonable explanation is required.
7. Classes will be divided into groups based on level of experience, to be determined at time of registration.
8. The schedule for group lessons is as follows:
• Group lessons will be posted at the beginning of first term
• Vzw JazzBXL is in no way responsible if for reasons outside of its control, this schedule has to be adjusted during the year.
• For instrumental lessons, students may choose their preferred class time from a list of available times, to be done at time of registration
• In the event that changes need to be made, these may be applied for in agreement with the secretary and instructor.
9. Students are free to use classrooms outside of class time, between 9am and 8pm.The no smoking rule applies throughout the entire building.Where there are windows in the specific classrooms, students are asked to keep them closed out of respect for the neighbours.
10. Smoking is allowed only in the specified areas.Inside the buiding smoking is not allowed.Alcohol use is forbidden during school hours.Use of any kind of drugs is prohibited inside the school as well as on the compound.
11. Vzw JazzBXL retains the right to permanently expel anyone found guilty of violating these rules. Restitution of fees will not be granted under these grounds.
